When Joti was 4 weeks old, he was found with two other cheetahs living inside a bathroom at a breeding facility. The three cubs were all in bad condition and were struggling for their life. Damien Vernaugnd, The owner of Inverdoorn and funder of Western Cape Cheetah Conservation, found these cubs in South Africa and insisted on taking them.
The first 6 months of their life were critical and we had to fight for their life with good care and a lot of love. Joti is today a nice young Cheetah that loves his handlers deeply. To greet us he rubs his head against ours and purrs loudly. Joti is however quite careful, and will be a little suspicious to new things and people.
